Board of Directors
Teen Challenge exists because of the generosity and help of many
donors and volunteers. We sincerely appreciate the many volunteers
that help us each and every year! May the Lord bless their efforts
as we together labor in His harvest!
Rev. David Gall, President
Dave Gall has been a volunteer Board Member here at Teen Challenge
for almost seven years. He has served as Board President for the
past six years. Dave first became involved in Teen Challenge after
he helped us with a Business Plan in 1995. After this we asked if
he would consider serving as a board member.
Dave has a degree in Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering
here in Milwaukee. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor at
Bethel Assembly of God. Over the last 30 years he has worked in
a variety of capacities as:
President and CEO for the Graham Company, Inc.
Vice President and General Manager for Emerson Electric
Rev. Verne Hagenbeck, Vice President
Rev. Hagenbeck has served as Senior Pastor at First Assembly of
God in Waukesha,Wisconsin for over 25 years. His leadership and
commitment at First Assembly has enabled the church to grow at an
extremely rapid pace.
Pastor Hagenbeck and this life giving church has always made our
students fill welcome and loved. For this we greatly appreciate
his involvement.
Pastor Hagenbeck was born and raised in New Folden, Minnesota.
He attended North Central University in Minneapolis and also pastured
in several other churches.
Richard LaGrant, Treasurer
Richard and his twin brother Bruce grew up in a severely dysfunctional
family in Miami, Florida. After being kicked out of all schools
in Miami's
Dade County School District Richard turned to main line heroin addiction.
Richard worked as a contractor to support his daily habit.
In 1990 Richard went to church with his wife at a small building
located at
the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The local Teen
Challenge Choir was visiting that morning. At the request of his
wife,
Richard enrolled in Teen Challenge three days latter.
In 2000 Bruce died in Richards arms of cirrhosis of the liver.
The story of
these two men has been told on the nationally syndicated show, "Unshackled."
Richard acts as the current President and CEO of Genesis Construction
in
Beloit, Wisconsin. Richard is a frequent chapel speaker at Teen
Challenge.
His story of hope and freedom are a powerful example to everyone
that
freedom can be expected and obtained through programs like Teen
Challenge.
